Is this DH.89 N683DH..........
............c/n6782, ex G-AHXW & NR683 at Ardmore in NZ?
(look carefully between the Sabre and the 310)
All I have been able to gleen so far is...............
"I have now been told it is indeed a Rapide, which was found almost toitally authentic in a barn in the USA, having not flown since a little after the war. It has been brought to NZ by the US owner to get flying, and will be restored at Ardmore. It is in an RAF scheme, and this may or may not be strictly accurate. This is all I know but it comes via a friend from a source within the restoration company assigned to complete it."
Now come on you yanks, you don't have too many of these, surely someone knows something.
